The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting courses, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
