The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
