The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
