The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
