The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
