The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
