Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
