The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
