The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 and produce sparks 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
