The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
