Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
