The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
