The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
