Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
