Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
