Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
