The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
