The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
