Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
