The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
