Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
