The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
