The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
