The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
