The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
