Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
