The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
