The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the chargers panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
