The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
