Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
