Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
