The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
