The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
