The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
