The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
