The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting courses, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
