The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
