Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
