The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 What will convey to you what this is like? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
