The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11
