The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The Striking! 1 What is the Striking? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
