The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 Raging Fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
