The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
