The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
