The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Calamity! 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 Raging Fire. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
