The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The Clatterer! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
