The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 It is a burning Fire. 11
