The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
