The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
