The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
